Mentor home prices rise in May 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in May 2017 in Mentor rose by $6,800 while total sales increased by 8%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In May 2017, there were 108 homes sold, with a median sale price of $157,450 - a 4.5% increase over the $150,650 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 100 homes sold in Mentor in May 2016.

The median sales tax in Mentor for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $5,005, approximately 3.2% of the median home sale price for May 2017.
