Madison home prices fall in April 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in April 2017 in Madison fell by $18,600 while total sales decreased by 31.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In April 2017, there were 11 homes sold, with a median sale price of $136,100 - a 12% decrease over the $154,700 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 16 homes sold in Madison in April 2016.

The median sales tax in Madison for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $4,328, approximately 3.2% of the median home sale price for April 2017.
