Painesville home prices fall in February 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in February 2017 in Painesville fell by $2,350 while total sales increased by 26.2%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In February 2017, there were 53 homes sold, with a median sale price of $112,000 - a 2.1% decrease over the $114,350 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 42 homes sold in Painesville in February 2016.

The median sales tax in Painesville for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $4,252, approximately 3.8% of the median home sale price for February 2017.
