Garfield Heights home prices rise in the second quarter of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2017 in Garfield Heights rose by $6,490 while total sales increased by 35%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2017, there were 162 homes sold, with a median sale price of $45,000 - a 16.9% increase over the $38,511 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 120 homes sold in Garfield Heights in the second quarter of 2016.

The median sales tax in Garfield Heights for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $2,924, approximately 6.5% of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2017.
