Lyndhurst home prices rise in the second quarter of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2017 in Lyndhurst rose by $21,500 while total sales increased by 64.6%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2017, there were 79 homes sold, with a median sale price of $140,000 - a 18.1% increase over the $118,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 48 homes sold in Lyndhurst in the second quarter of 2016.

The median sales tax in Lyndhurst for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $4,180, approximately 3% of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2017.
