University Heights home prices rise in the second quarter of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2017 in University Heights rose by $22,000 while total sales increased by 50.8%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2017, there were 89 homes sold, with a median sale price of $160,000 - a 15.9% increase over the $138,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 59 homes sold in University Heights in the second quarter of 2016.

The median sales tax in University Heights for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $6,411, approximately 4% of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2017.
