Mayfield home prices fall in the second quarter of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2017 in Mayfield fell by $25,000 while total sales increased by 14.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2017, there were eight homes sold, with a median sale price of $180,000 - a 12.2% decrease over the $205,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were seven homes sold in Mayfield in the second quarter of 2016.

The median sales tax in Mayfield for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $5,906, approximately 3.3% of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2017.
