Newtown home prices rise in the second quarter of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2019 in Newtown rose by $20,000 while total sales decreased by 58.8%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2019, there were seven homes sold, with a median sale price of $165,000 - a 13.8% increase over the $145,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 17 homes sold in Newtown in the second quarter of 2018.
