Newtown home prices rise in the first quarter of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2019 in Newtown rose by $34,250 while total sales decreased by 33.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2019, there were six homes sold, with a median sale price of $148,250 - a 30% increase over the $114,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were nine homes sold in Newtown in the first quarter of 2018.
