Newtown home prices rise in the fourth quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2018 in Newtown rose by $19,245 while total sales decreased by 27.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2018, there were eight homes sold, with a median sale price of $152,245 - a 14.5% increase over the $133,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 11 homes sold in Newtown in the fourth quarter of 2017.
