Newtown home prices rise in the second quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2018 in Newtown rose by $3,800 while total sales increased by 6.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2018, there were 17 homes sold, with a median sale price of $145,000 - a 2.7% increase over the $141,200 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 16 homes sold in Newtown in the second quarter of 2017.
