Mayfield home prices fall in the first quarter of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2017 in Mayfield fell by $184,500 while total sales increased by 40%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2017, there were seven homes sold, with a median sale price of $154,500 - a 54.4% decrease over the $339,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were five homes sold in Mayfield in the first quarter of 2016.

The median sales tax in Mayfield for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $5,906, approximately 3.8% of the median home sale price for the first quarter of 2017.
