Newtown home prices fall in the first quarter of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2017 in Newtown fell by $18,350 while total sales increased by 75%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2017, there were seven homes sold, with a median sale price of $177,000 - a 9.4% decrease over the $195,350 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were four homes sold in Newtown in the first quarter of 2016.
