Oberlin home prices rise in the second quarter of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2019 in Oberlin rose by $99,000 while total sales increased by 1550%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2019, there were 33 homes sold, with a median sale price of $141,000 - a 235.7% increase over the $42,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were two homes sold in Oberlin in the second quarter of 2018.

The median sales tax in Oberlin for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $2,304, approximately 1.6% of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2019.
