Sheffield home prices fall in the second quarter of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2019 in Sheffield fell by $62,250 while total sales increased by 183.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2019, there were 17 homes sold, with a median sale price of $145,000 - a 30% decrease over the $207,250 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were six homes sold in Sheffield in the second quarter of 2018.

The median sales tax in Sheffield for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $3,338, approximately 2.3% of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2019.
