Avon home prices rise in the second quarter of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2019 in Avon rose by $25,750 while total sales increased by 1287.5%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2019, there were 111 homes sold, with a median sale price of $305,000 - a 9.2% increase over the $279,250 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were eight homes sold in Avon in the second quarter of 2018.

The median sales tax in Avon for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $4,601, approximately 1.5% of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2019.
