Wellington home prices rise in the first quarter of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2019 in Wellington rose by $1,200 while total sales decreased by 25.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2019, there were 26 homes sold, with a median sale price of $133,600 - a 0.9% increase over the $132,400 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 35 homes sold in Wellington in the first quarter of 2018.

The median sales tax in Wellington for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $2,301, approximately 1.7% of the median home sale price for the first quarter of 2019.
