Vermilion home prices fall in the fourth quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2018 in Vermilion fell by $25,800 while total sales decreased by 43.2%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2018, there were 25 homes sold, with a median sale price of $109,900 - a 19% decrease over the $135,700 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 44 homes sold in Vermilion in the fourth quarter of 2017.

The median sales tax in Vermilion for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $2,212, approximately 2% of the median home sale price for the fourth quarter of 2018.
