Sheffield Lake home prices rise in the fourth quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2018 in Sheffield Lake rose by $15,000 while total sales increased by 38.2%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2018, there were 47 homes sold, with a median sale price of $118,500 - a 14.5% increase over the $103,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 34 homes sold in Sheffield Lake in the fourth quarter of 2017.

The median sales tax in Sheffield Lake for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $2,155, approximately 1.8% of the median home sale price for the fourth quarter of 2018.
