Vermilion home prices fall in the third quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2018 in Vermilion fell by $15,550 while total sales decreased by 28.6%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2018, there were 30 homes sold, with a median sale price of $144,900 - a 9.7% decrease over the $160,450 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 42 homes sold in Vermilion in the third quarter of 2017.

The median sales tax in Vermilion for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $2,212, approximately 1.5% of the median home sale price for the third quarter of 2018.
