Sheffield home prices rise in the first quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2018 in Sheffield rose by $31,100 while total sales decreased by 20%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2018, there were eight homes sold, with a median sale price of $162,000 - a 23.8% increase over the $130,900 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 10 homes sold in Sheffield in the first quarter of 2017.

The median sales tax in Sheffield for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $3,338, approximately 2.1% of the median home sale price for the first quarter of 2018.
