Sheffield home prices fall in the fourth quarter of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2017 in Sheffield fell by $72,250 while total sales increased by 75%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2017, there were 14 homes sold, with a median sale price of $145,500 - a 33.2% decrease over the $217,750 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were eight homes sold in Sheffield in the fourth quarter of 2016.

The median sales tax in Sheffield for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $3,338, approximately 2.3% of the median home sale price for the fourth quarter of 2017.
