Oberlin home prices fall in the second quarter of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2017 in Oberlin fell by $60,175 while total sales increased by 100%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2017, there were 30 homes sold, with a median sale price of $95,325 - a 38.7% decrease over the $155,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 15 homes sold in Oberlin in the second quarter of 2016.

The median sales tax in Oberlin for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $2,304, approximately 2.4% of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2017.
