Mentor-on-the-Lake home prices fall in the fourth quarter of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2017 in Mentor-on-the-Lake fell by $27,350 while total sales decreased by 14.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2017, there were 24 homes sold, with a median sale price of $86,100 - a 24.1% decrease over the $113,450 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 28 homes sold in Mentor-on-the-Lake in the fourth quarter of 2016.

The median sales tax in Mentor-on-the-Lake for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $4,466, approximately 5.2% of the median home sale price for the fourth quarter of 2017.
