North Madison home prices rise in the fourth quarter of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2017 in North Madison rose by $300 while total sales remained unchanged with 39 homes sold, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2017, there were 39 homes sold, with a median sale price of $106,900 - a 0.3% increase over the $106,600 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 39 homes sold in North Madison in the fourth quarter of 2016, as well.

The median sales tax in North Madison for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $3,378, approximately 3.2% of the median home sale price for the fourth quarter of 2017.
