Mentor-on-the-Lake home prices rise in the third quarter of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2017 in Mentor-on-the-Lake rose by $4,500 while total sales increased by 7.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2017, there were 44 homes sold, with a median sale price of $118,000 - a 4% increase over the $113,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 41 homes sold in Mentor-on-the-Lake in the third quarter of 2016.

The median sales tax in Mentor-on-the-Lake for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $4,466, approximately 3.8% of the median home sale price for the third quarter of 2017.
