Willoughby home prices rise in the second quarter of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2017 in Willoughby rose by $1,000 while total sales increased by 12.5%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2017, there were 108 homes sold, with a median sale price of $130,500 - a 0.8% increase over the $129,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 96 homes sold in Willoughby in the second quarter of 2016.

The median sales tax in Willoughby for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $3,736, approximately 2.9% of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2017.
