Mentor-on-the-Lake home prices fall in the second quarter of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2017 in Mentor-on-the-Lake fell by $1,500 while total sales increased by 48.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2017, there were 43 homes sold, with a median sale price of $128,500 - a 1.2% decrease over the $130,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 29 homes sold in Mentor-on-the-Lake in the second quarter of 2016.

The median sales tax in Mentor-on-the-Lake for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $4,466, approximately 3.5% of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2017.
