Kirtland home prices fall in the second quarter of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2017 in Kirtland fell by $42,500 while total sales increased by 18.2%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2017, there were 26 homes sold, with a median sale price of $200,000 - a 17.5% decrease over the $242,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 22 homes sold in Kirtland in the second quarter of 2016.

The median sales tax in Kirtland for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $7,619, approximately 3.8% of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2017.
