Grand River home prices rise in the first quarter of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2017 in Grand River rose by $21,400 while total sales remained unchanged with two homes sold, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2017, there were two homes sold, with a median sale price of $104,650 - a 25.7% increase over the $83,250 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were two homes sold in Grand River in the first quarter of 2016, as well.

The median sales tax in Grand River for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $2,701, approximately 2.6% of the median home sale price for the first quarter of 2017.
