Mentor-on-the-Lake home prices rise in the first quarter of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2017 in Mentor-on-the-Lake rose by $13,000 while total sales decreased by 6.9%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2017, there were 27 homes sold, with a median sale price of $116,000 - a 12.6% increase over the $103,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 29 homes sold in Mentor-on-the-Lake in the first quarter of 2016.

The median sales tax in Mentor-on-the-Lake for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $4,466, approximately 3.9% of the median home sale price for the first quarter of 2017.
