Perry home prices rise in the first quarter of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2017 in Perry rose by $60,100 while total sales increased by 83.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2017, there were 11 homes sold, with a median sale price of $170,000 - a 54.7% increase over the $109,900 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were six homes sold in Perry in the first quarter of 2016.

The median sales tax in Perry for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $3,852, approximately 2.3% of the median home sale price for the first quarter of 2017.
