Newtown home prices rise in the first half of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2019 in Newtown rose by $6,500 while total sales decreased by 50%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2019, there were 13 homes sold, with a median sale price of $149,000 - a 4.6% increase over the $142,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 26 homes sold in Newtown in the first half of 2018.
