Newtown home prices rise in the second half of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2017 in Newtown rose by $5,900 while total sales increased by 6.9%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2017, there were 31 homes sold, with a median sale price of $139,900 - a 4.4% increase over the $134,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 29 homes sold in Newtown in the second half of 2016.
