Newtown home prices fall in the first half of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2017 in Newtown fell by $14,750 while total sales increased by 15%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2017, there were 23 homes sold, with a median sale price of $142,500 - a 9.4% decrease over the $157,250 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 20 homes sold in Newtown in the first half of 2016.
