Sheffield home prices rise in the first half of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2018 in Sheffield rose by $39,250 while total sales decreased by 44%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2018, there were 14 homes sold, with a median sale price of $174,250 - a 29.1% increase over the $135,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 25 homes sold in Sheffield in the first half of 2017.

The median sales tax in Sheffield for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $3,338, approximately 1.9% of the median home sale price for the first half of 2018.
