Penfield Junction home prices fall in the second half of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2017 in Penfield Junction fell by $20,000 while total sales decreased by 42.9%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2017, there were four homes sold, with a median sale price of $30,000 - a 40% decrease over the $50,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were seven homes sold in Penfield Junction in the second half of 2016.

The median sales tax in Penfield Junction for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $1,622, approximately 5.4% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2017.
