Sheffield home prices fall in the second half of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2017 in Sheffield fell by $19,122 while total sales increased by 130.8%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2017, there were 30 homes sold, with a median sale price of $190,778 - a 9.1% decrease over the $209,900 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 13 homes sold in Sheffield in the second half of 2016.

The median sales tax in Sheffield for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $3,338, approximately 1.7% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2017.
