Shoreland home prices rise in the second half of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2017 in Shoreland rose by $26,750 while total sales decreased by 25%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2017, there were three homes sold, with a median sale price of $71,500 - a 59.8% increase over the $44,750 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were four homes sold in Shoreland in the second half of 2016.

The median sales tax in Shoreland for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $2,508, approximately 3.5% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2017.
