Mentor-on-the-Lake home prices rise in the second half of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2017 in Mentor-on-the-Lake rose by $4,000 while total sales decreased by 1.4%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2017, there were 68 homes sold, with a median sale price of $117,500 - a 3.5% increase over the $113,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 69 homes sold in Mentor-on-the-Lake in the second half of 2016.

The median sales tax in Mentor-on-the-Lake for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $4,466, approximately 3.8% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2017.
