Perry home prices fall in the first half of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2017 in Perry fell by $35,100 while total sales increased by 21.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2017, there were 23 homes sold, with a median sale price of $119,900 - a 22.6% decrease over the $155,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 19 homes sold in Perry in the first half of 2016.

The median sales tax in Perry for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $3,852, approximately 3.2% of the median home sale price for the first half of 2017.
