Mentor-on-the-Lake home prices rise in the first half of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2017 in Mentor-on-the-Lake rose by $6,050 while total sales increased by 20.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2017, there were 70 homes sold, with a median sale price of $124,500 - a 5.1% increase over the $118,450 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 58 homes sold in Mentor-on-the-Lake in the first half of 2016.

The median sales tax in Mentor-on-the-Lake for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $4,466, approximately 3.6% of the median home sale price for the first half of 2017.
