Grand River home prices rise in the first half of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2017 in Grand River rose by $16,050 while total sales increased by 25%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2017, there were five homes sold, with a median sale price of $125,000 - a 14.7% increase over the $108,950 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were four homes sold in Grand River in the first half of 2016.

The median sales tax in Grand River for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $2,701, approximately 2.2% of the median home sale price for the first half of 2017.
