Newtown home prices rise in 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in 2017 in Newtown rose by $6,300 while total sales increased by 10.2%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through December of 2017, there were 54 homes sold, with a median sale price of $141,200 - a 4.7% increase over the $134,900 median sale price for the previous year. There were 49 homes sold in Newtown in 2016.
