South Amherst home prices rise in 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in 2018 in South Amherst rose by $48,000 while total sales decreased by 19.4%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through December of 2018, there were 25 homes sold, with a median sale price of $138,000 - a 53.3% increase over the $90,000 median sale price for the previous year. There were 31 homes sold in South Amherst in 2017.
