Avon home prices rise in 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in 2018 in Avon rose by $15,450 while total sales decreased by 42.9%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through December of 2018, there were 212 homes sold, with a median sale price of $285,450 - a 5.7% increase over the $270,000 median sale price for the previous year. There were 371 homes sold in Avon in 2017.

The median sales tax in Avon for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $4,601, approximately 1.6% of the median home sale price for 2018.
