Laporte home prices fall in 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in 2017 in Laporte fell by $11,450 while total sales remained unchanged with four homes sold, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through December of 2017, there were four homes sold, with a median sale price of $94,500 - a 10.8% decrease over the $105,950 median sale price for the previous year. There were four homes sold in Laporte in 2016, as well.

The median sales tax in Laporte for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $1,929, approximately 2% of the median home sale price for 2017.
