Oberlin home prices rise in 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in 2017 in Oberlin rose by $19,125 while total sales increased by 90%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through December of 2017, there were 133 homes sold, with a median sale price of $123,500 - a 18.3% increase over the $104,375 median sale price for the previous year. There were 70 homes sold in Oberlin in 2016.

The median sales tax in Oberlin for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $2,304, approximately 1.9% of the median home sale price for 2017.
