Vermilion home prices fall in 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in 2017 in Vermilion fell by $9,000 while total sales increased by 62.5%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through December of 2017, there were 143 homes sold, with a median sale price of $134,500 - a 6.3% decrease over the $143,500 median sale price for the previous year. There were 88 homes sold in Vermilion in 2016.

The median sales tax in Vermilion for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $2,212, approximately 1.6% of the median home sale price for 2017.
