Independence home prices rise in 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in 2019 in Independence rose by $10,000 while total sales decreased by 6.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through December of 2019, there were 89 homes sold, with a median sale price of $240,000 - a 4.3% increase over the $230,000 median sale price for the previous year. There were 95 homes sold in Independence in 2018.
